Merry Christmas everybody and thank you so much for your support throughout the year. You really ARE Gold!
I don’t know what you all have in store, but I’ve been busy singing with a local choir, and Alderney really is the most incredibly sociable place – so lots of drinks parties to go to.
On Christmas Day, we have friends joining us – sadly not family this year as they are all in the UK – but we’re looking forward to the full Christmas lunch – turkey and all the trimmings.
My husband’s family has a tradition of meat and potato pie on Christmas Eve – I have no idea where that came from, but I’m always happy to eat that particular favourite. It’s a simple meal, but leaves lots of time for preparation of the main event on Christmas Day.
And then on Boxing Day we have an open house – we’re always pleased to see people and the table with be heaving with food, so friends can join us for a glass of something and a mince pie, or can sit down to cold meats, sausage rolls and other delights – including a Delia chocolate torte!
The other exciting news is that two of my books – Stranger Child and Only the Innocent – are in an AMAZON UK 12 DAYS OF KINDLE PROMOTION – for just 99p each! Please spread the word amongst your friends!
Have a wonderful Christmas, and thank you for your support throughout the year.
With love and best wishes
